Dog and His Shadow

One day on the beach I happened upon a dog playfully dashing around in the sand. This is just the beginning of my photo manipulations. I am working to create the sense that the shadow has as much sense of presence as the dog. I am using layer effects and computer drawing techniques with the base of a digital photo.
